Daywise Tour Itinerary

Arrive at NJP or Bagdogra Airport and drive to Yuksom (~1710 m / 5600 ft). Enjoy the scenic route through rivers, valleys, and mountain landscapes. Check into a lodge or homestay for overnight stay.

Begin trekking from Yuksom to Sachen (~2200 m / 7215 ft). This half-day trek is perfect for acclimatization amidst lush greenery. Overnight camp in twin-sharing tents.

Continue trekking through forest trails and gentle slopes to Tsokha (~2960 m / 9700 ft), passing Bakhim. Half-day climb allows you to adjust to higher altitudes. Overnight camping at Tsokha.

A longer trekking day of ~9 km (~6–7 hours), passing through Phedang to reach Dzongri (~3965 m / 13,005 ft). A sustained climb challenges trekkers but rewards with stunning alpine views. Overnight camp at Dzongri.

Spend the day at Dzongri for active acclimatization. Early morning trek to Dzongri Top (~4120 m) for sunrise views. Optional visit to nearby trails for photography or light hikes. Return to camp at Dzongri.

Trek through alpine meadows and high ridges to reach Lamuney (~4150 m / 13,700 ft). Moderate trekking day (~12 km / 7–8 hours) with beautiful mountain scenery. Overnight camp at Lamuney.

Ascend to Goecha La viewpoint (~4600 m / 15,100 ft) for panoramic views of Kanchenjunga and surrounding peaks. Return trek to Kochurang (~15 km / 8–10 hours), overnight camping. Long but rewarding day.

Retrace the trail via Phedang and descend to Tsokha (~16 km / 6–7 hours). Moderate trekking day, enjoying alpine meadows and forested trails. Overnight camping at Tsokha.

Final trekking day (~15 km / 5–6 hours) with all descent. Walk through forests and villages back to Yuksom, checking into a lodge or homestay for a relaxing evening.

Drive back to NJP or Bagdogra (~160 km / 7–8 hours), concluding your unforgettable Goechala Trek adventure.
